revived, renewed

As per usual, time has flown and I haven't posted an update. Right now I am on the verge of spring break - my last spring break - and am immensely excited about it. Everything in my life is changing once again, and it's both exhilarating and terrifying. Our time in Missouri is coming to a close, and we're looking forward to the new baby and new town we'll encounter this summer.
And Scott is learning banjo. I love hearing music in our house!

Finn is a year and a half old now, and it's hard to believe. Having this relationship is incredible, I must say that it boggles my mind to experience mother-child love from the side of the mother, as opposed to the child. We have so much fun together, and have so many tender moments. I often idly wonder of the tender moments lost in time that I must have shared with my own mother. I feel like the keeper of memories because I know he will never remember these times.
Spring is finally here! It feels so good. The sunshine is a tonic for my spirit. I feel revived; renewed.
